Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival Entebbe
We warmly meet you on arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, transfer you to your city Hotel. Check-in, enjoy overnight
Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve
An early breakfast, transferred back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your morning Aerolink flight to Kisoro (baggage allowance is 15 kg in soft sided duffel bags). Upon arrival at Kisoro airstrip, you will be met by the Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge representative and transfer to the lodge. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Meals and overnight
Day 3 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve
Breakfast then transfer to the nearby park offices for a briefing by the Tourism conservation and gorilla guides. You will be briefed on how to behave in the forest while in the presence of the gorilla family. Registration then the gorilla trekking starts with trackers, guides and porters. The trekking may take as short as a few minutes to as long as a couple of hours. Once the gorilla group is found you will be allowed an hour to stay with them before breaking off for lunch in the forest. Later walk back to your waiting vehicle and return to the park offices to receive a gorilla trekking certificate. You will later return to your accommodation to freshen up. Dinner and overnight
Day 4 Fly Bwindi – Entebbe – Kilimanjaro Airport
Breakfast then transfer back to Kisoro airstrip for your flight to Entebbe arriving in time to connect on your onward flight to the Kilimanjaro International Airport where we meet and transfer you to Arusha. We will brief you about your safari. Our representative will help you through check-in. Enjoy overnight at Palace Hotel Arusha or similar.
Day 5 Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Enjoy your breakfast then depart with packed lunch to the Tarangire National Park for game viewing drives; home to the burchells zebra, buffalo, lions, the savanna Elephants, impalas, the Masai Giraffe, gazelle, hartebeest and eland among many others. Check-in, dinner and overnight at Marera Lodge in Karatu.
Day 6 Karatu – Serengeti National Park
This morning we enjoy an early breakfast then depart with picnic lunch boxes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy enroute game viewing drive. Check-in, dinner and overnight
Day 7 Serengeti National Park
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY (at an extra cost): Balloon Safari over the Serengeti Plains with a champagne breakfast.
Enjoy breakfast; we depart with picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing drives northwards to Kogatende area. Dinner and overnight
Day 8 Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a full day of game viewing drives in Kogatende area which borders the famous Mara River through which hundreds of thousands of wildebeests cross between the Serengeti and the Masai mara Game Reserve. The vast Serengeti plains is home to hundreds of thousands of wildlife. These include the elusive leopard, black and white rhino, impalas, grant and Thompson gazelles, Masai giraffes, Burchell’s zebras, wart hogs among many others. Dinner and overnight
Day 9 Serengeti National Park
Breakfast then depart with packed lunch. Enjoy game drives in the Serengeti down back to central Serengeti. Meals and overnight
Day 10 Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy breakfast then we depart with packed lunch. Enjoy en route game viewing drive in the Serengeti National Park as you exit through the Naabi gate. Enjoy a visit to a traditional Masai village in Ngorongoro. Proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight
Please note that Ngorongoro area tends to be very cold so you need some warm clothing.
Day 11 Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Enjoy some nice breakfast then with picnic lunch depart for a wonderful tour in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater floor which is one of the richest wildlife habitats. Here lives the giant Savannah Elephants, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, Burchell’s zebras, and prides of lions among many others. The crater is the largest free-standing caldera in the world, measuring some 10km in diameter. We later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 12 Departure
We enjoy our breakfast then depart with packed lunch, drive via Arusha. Our guide driver will drop you at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
