Arusha Coffee Lodge

&BEYOND LAKE MANYARA TREE LODGE
The only permanent luxury lodge in Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is renowned for its romantic stilted tree house suites that are shaded by a mahogany forest. After an exhilarating game drive, guests stop for sundowners on the lakeshore below the Great Rift Valley wall.
Hidden away high in the trees in a secluded corner of the national park, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge offers 10 sophisticated Treehouses with an amazing blend of natural indulgence and romance. Sanctuary Swala Camp
Sanctuary Swala is located in a secluded, remote corner of the Tarangire, in total seclusion amongst giant acacia trees and looking out beyond the flat savannah. The picturesque landscape is filled with ancient baobab trees, ambling elephants and birds in flight. Built to the highest eco-friendly standards, this camp has a particularly low-carbon footprint.
Each of the twelve canvas pavilions is shaded by tall acacia trees and all are within sight of the well frequented water hole. They are unashamedly luxurious and exquisitely furnished but still close enough to nature to permit an exciting night under canvas. The tents feature a spacious open plan arrangement with comfortable king or twin beds, campaign chairs and plush sofas and boast an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower for that extra bit of luxury. Sip cocktails or enjoy scrumptious dinners on your own private veranda and watch the waterhole which regularly draws lions, leopards and resident bull elephants while your own personal attendant caters for your every need. Chem Chem Lodge
This camp is situated within a privileged Wildlife Management Area between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara known as the Burunge Wildlife Management Area. The Lodge is nestled on the picturesque western side of the wildlife concession and consists of eight secluded tent-style suites with an opulent main Lodge house.
The eight stylish, secluded tent-style suites have been exquisitely decorated to offer 5-star accommodation, each with spectacular, private lake views. Each suite, (100m²), has been created from a combination of canvas, lava-stones and wood, and are set a minimum of 80 metres apart to ensure complete privacy. Every tent boasts a luxury bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a reading corner, dressing room, dressing gown and slippers, yoga mats and private patios complete with a luxurious day-bed.
The family suite consists of a full suite connected to a vintage-style tented room (50m²) with two single beds, a rocking chair, small desk, with its own bathroom (indoor shower) and dressing room. The two rooms are built on the same platform and are connected via a small wooden bridge. It can sleep up to four children or two adults.
The permanent structure of the Lodge’s main house reflects the form of a flamingo with its wings spread wide for landing. One wing holds the full service gourmet restaurant and an outside fire place, the other wing offers a bar, lounge, fire place and fully stocked library. The Lodge also boasts a viewing deck with awe-inspiring views over Lake Manyara. Outside, a pool is hidden in the trees to cool off in and escape from the afternoon heat. The Chem Chem Amani Spa offers a new meaning to utter relaxation.

Little Chem Chem
Known as the sunrise camp, Little Chem Chem is situated on the edge of an acacia forest. The camp is surrounded by the characteristic landscape of the Tarangire River with its impressive Baobab trees and overlooks the freshwater lake, Lake Burunge. The atmosphere at Little Chem Chem is welcoming, elegant and oozing authenticity of a bygone era.
