Day 1 Nairobi

Our representatives will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport; transfer you to your city hotel where we will brief you on your safari arrangements. Enjoy overnight at the hotel where you are booked on bed and breakfast. Crowne Plaza Nairobi BB or similar

Day 2 Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

This morning our guide driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast; drive you to Amboseli National Park. You will be arriving for lunch. This afternoon depart on a game viewing drive. From the lodge you can enjoy the view of the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). The park is home to the lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest among others. Enjoy dinner and overnight. Amboseli serena lodge LDBB or similar

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, the luxury Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park.

Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, the safari lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. These, the only sources of water in this otherwise starkly beautiful but arid park, attract huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffalos and plains game. Meanwhile, from the prehistoric site of Observation Hill, the sunset over Kilimanjaro is magnificent.

At the centre of ‘Masailand’, the lodge’s décor reflects the brilliant primary colours and iconic shapes representative of these legendary warriors. At the heart of the lodge, shaded by palm trees, is a free-form swimming pool; to either side of which stretch the rooms. Each room is housed in a single storey building opening directly on to the grounds, each reflecting a Masai Manyatta theme: each with its own hand-painted wall frescos.
Day 3 Amboseli National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Masai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. Day 4 Amboseli National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy early morning breakfast then depart to the Lake Nakuru National Park. We will be arriving at the lodge for lunch. We depart on an afternoon game viewing drive. The scenic 188km2 Lake Nakuru game park is home to the black and white rhino, prides lions, cape buffalos, waterbucks, reticulated giraffes, hartebeests among many others. When the water levels in the lake are low, the 68km2 alkaline lake is famous for the thousands of greater and lesser flamingoes. The park has the largest euphorbia forest in Africa. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Day 5 Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart to the Maasai Mara National Reserve arriving for lunch. Depart on an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the hundreds of wildlife species the game reserve is famous for. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard, impalas, Masai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Thompson & grant’s gazelles, topi, the resident wildebeests among many others. Day 6 Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy breakfast then a full day of game viewing drive in search of the Big-Five among many other wildlife species. In addition to wildlife, the Mara has nice, varied scenery to enjoy. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains or visit a traditional Masai Village (at an extra cost).The vast plains and grasslands is also home to hundreds of bird species. Ashnil Mara Camp

Ashnil Mara Camp is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve and close to the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. The camp is arguably in one of the very best positions in the Masai Mara for game viewing and also provides the perfect setting to sit and relax at the end of an exciting day of game drives. The property comprises 40 luxury tents and includes luxury ensuite bathrooms, walk-in closets and a sun deck for relaxation while watching game.
Day 7 Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast then check-out. You may opt to drive or take a one-hour flight (at an extra cost) to Nairobi. Enjoy a farewell lunch at the carnivore restaurant then our guide driver will drop you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
